FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is the typical Cruceros.gay guest like?
Is there only one type of person in the world? That’s exactly what happens on our cruises—you’ll find friends in their 20s and amazing people who are already retired. They come from all over Spain and Latin America, and the only thing we ask of all our guests is to come ready to enjoy every minute of the trip, meet fantastic people, and experience what it’s like to travel as a group, in community 🌈
What kind of activities take place on Cruceros.gay?
No two cruises are the same. Each experience is unique, and on every cruise we like to do different activities with the groups. If there’s one thing we try to take care of, it’s our guests’ smiles, and we use laughter and good vibes as the common thread in everything we do. So if there’s one thing we’re sure of, it’s that you’ll make many friends and have a great time if you let yourself go.
What is included in my cruise?
On all cruises you will have included your cabin in the selected category with a private bathroom, breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day of your cruise, port taxes, and of course all the activities we organize for the group. Sometimes, depending on the departure, we also include the alcoholic drinks package or the mandatory tips. Don’t worry, because in all our brochures we detail exactly what is included and what you can book separately.
What are gratuities and embarkation fees?
Port taxes are the “fees” that cruise lines must pay to the ports they visit for each passenger. They are always included in the price of your cruise, so you don’t need to worry about them.
In the case of tips, you should know that it is a mandatory charge on all cruises, which is sometimes included in the price of your cruise and other times you will have to pay it on the last day of your cruise. Don’t worry, we always inform you about these kinds of things in our brochures before you book your cruise.
What should I pack in my suitcase for the cruise?
Cruises are not very different from a beach hotel, so during the day you can dress as you would in your city—comfortably, to go on excursions and visit the ports, or if you prefer, to spend a relaxing day on board the cruise. In the evenings, the looks change a bit more. As a general rule, treat the nights like when you go out with your friends for a special Friday dinner: long pants and that outfit that looks so good on you! 🙂 On most cruises, there’s also usually a white night, so save something to enjoy that party as if you were in Ibiza.
What cabin number will I get?
Our groups always have GUARANTEED CABINS assigned, which means you can book the category (Interior, Oceanview, or Balcony), but the specific cabin number will be assigned by the cruise line.
Can you smoke on board the cruises?
All ships have designated smoking areas, which are the only places where smoking is allowed.
Do I need a PASSPORT or ID card to travel?
It is always necessary to travel with a Passport. Only in some cases can you travel with just an ID card if you are a citizen of a European country, but you must ask us beforehand so we can confirm it. In the case of Non-European citizens, in addition to the Passport, they must present their residence card (physical and valid), as paper documents or renewal forms for the residence card will not be accepted and boarding will be denied. If you are under “asylum” status, remember that you will not be able to board either.
What is the cancellation policy of Cruceros.gay?
Our cancellation policy is detailed in the general conditions of your booking, so we kindly ask you to read them before booking your trip. Remember that the cancellation conditions for our groups have nothing to do with the general conditions published on the cruise lines’ websites, as in order to organize the group or rent the onboard venues, among other things, we pre-purchase all the space from the cruise line many months in advance, which is why the cancellation conditions are different.
Should I purchase travel insurance?
Yes. We know nobody likes to purchase travel insurance, but think about it: if a few days before your trip you have an accident, or if during the cruise you need to see a doctor, or if for some reason your suitcase gets damaged, the insurance will cover it—and without it, you would lose the money. So of course we recommend that you get travel insurance, either with us or on your own, but always travel insured.
